Founder - Savannah Harms
Savannah is a pet lover, an active volunteer with Bristol Hospice Dallas and a former dog-mom to Fido. She founded Fido’s Promise in early 2026 after experiencing firsthand the logistical and financial difficulties hospice patients face in caring for their pets.
When she’s not herding cats, wrangling dogs or lint-rolling her pants, Savannah is a finance attorney and lives with her husband, Adam, and their 2 rescue cats in Dallas, TX.

Operations Support - Adam Harms
Adam provides operational support for Fido’s Promise and brings extensive experience in non-profit and mission-driven work.
Adam is a novelist and lifelong “cat guy.” He splits his time between Dallas, TX and Vancouver, BC, where he works as a First Nations land claims researcher with Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs.
